In a Qing Dynasty record, we read: \"Pu'er tea is famous all over the world. It comes from the six tea mountains under Pu'er prefecture: Youle, Gedeng, Yibang, Manzhi, Manzhuan, and Mansa [later renamed Yiwu], with a circumference of 800 miles.
