The peculiar characteristic of this plant is the greater size (\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e大 \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003edà\u003c\/em\u003e, big) of buds and leaves, that gives this tea a more intense aroma, and a fuller body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the last processing phase, the soft needle-shaped buds (针 \u003cem\u003ezhēn\u003c\/em\u003e, needle) are oven-dried at a temperature of about 110°C. It is here that they turn from light green to gold (金 j\u003cem\u003eīn\u003c\/em\u003e), painting the liquor with beautiful and precious shades. The oven-drying also gives them a stronger fragrance, that is reflected in each brew.
